Looking Around the Community...
and Making a Difference

Highway Clean Up (Rescheduled for tonight)
Hey everyone… men, women, and kids (10 years and older), are getting together for highway clean up on Thursday, April 17 at 5:00 pm. It’s that time of year again and PCEFC has committed to keeping clean, a section of the freeway between Pine City and Beroun. We will meet at the Lighthouse and drive the vans to the area.

Reserve A Spot To Help (This Saturday!)
Call Janet Hawkinson at 629.6045 or Adrienne Roubinek at 629.2227 to reserve a spot helping at the Second Harvest Pine City Surplus Food Distribution through Ruby's Pantry on Saturday, April 19 starting at 7:00 am. We will be distributing the food from the vacant Car City dealership across from the Pine City High School. This distribution is partially funded by our Pine City EFC’s Hometown Mission's Fund. You can help in a number of ways, such as directing traffic, registering participants, handing out food, breaking down cardboard, and/or assisting participants in carrying their groceries to their cars. Please join in... put your faith into action!

A Note of Thanks

Thank you to all of you who have volunteered to deliver meals in the community this month. This is an important service to our community.... it means for some, one hot meal that day and having someone stop to say "hello". Thank you!
