The process of growth to Christlikeness is one in which we need to walk together, not alone. We need one another in order to grow and become all that God intends for us… it is difficult to experience significant growth on our own.
Because we need one another, for encouragement, strength and edification, we have formed small groups at Pine City EFC. You will be informed soon as to the small group you are in either by a letter or a call.

Another Awana year has come to an end at Pine City EFC. It was quite a year! We want to thank all leaders and helpers for their committment in sharing of their time and love with the children. Pssst...... Could I Have Your Attention?
We need a bushel full of volunteers because we're planning on a bumper crop of kids at Son Harvest County Fair. Yep, we need a bunch of farmhands for the farm-fresh fun we'll be having at this year's blue-ribbon Bible school! If you haven't circled your calendar already, do so for August 4-8. If you can be a farmhand, and help cultivate farm-fresh fun and spiritual growth in our kids, contact Rachel Baltes, VBS Director.

Spending Time With Father
Summer Study Group
It's important to spend time with our fathers. It's also important to spend time with our heavenly Father. God wants us to talk to him."God loves us deeply and longs to be in a relationship in which we receive the spiritual and physical blessings he wants to give us. We, as individuals and as churches, suffer great loss when we fail to ask God for these blessings. These blessings can change our lives, invigorate our churches, transform our communities, and even alter the course of history! Best of all, they are available to every believer and every church if we will only pray for them in faith and obedience." (Jim Cymbala) Prayer can change lives and circumstances like nothing else can...
A study group will look at the following keys that unlock God's power and turn prayer from a mere activity into a vital link with God and all his resources in a 6-week session led by Tim and Candy Geisler. What Happens When God's People Pray, by Jim Cymbala will be used in this study. This group will meet at the Lighthouse at 7:00 pm and everyone is invited to attend on the following nights:
May 28-"God's Heart For Us"
June 4 "The Amazing Power of Prayer"
June 11 "Obedience in Prayer"
June 18 "The Word of God and Prayer"
June 25 "Why Prayer Matters"
July 2 "Creating A Prayer Ministry in Your Church"
