No Monkeys in My Family Tree!

Last night Pine City Evangelical Free Church kicked off its annual Vacation Bible School! Our theme this year is "The Egypt File: Decoding the Mystery of Life." We were so excited that nearly 60 children from K-4 to 6th grade attended (along with over 50 volunteers). We are praying for even more to attend as the week progresses!

The night started with singing a fun song called "No Monkeys in My Family Tree!" Every boy and girl got to play outdoor games, make a craft, have a snack, and of course learn from God's Word!

The key verse for last night was Genesis 1:27 "God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female He created them." The students were taught that each one of them is the "special creation of God!" He loves them and created them for His glory!

The night wrapped up with a special skit performed by our teens!
