A Cup of Cold Water
A "Household Shower" is being planned on Tuesday, August 3, 6:30 pm for Gene and Marlene LaMotte, the couple who lost their home and everything in it, in the tornado in June. The couple is now living in a Winnebago on their property and will soon be getting a modular home put in place for them. Here’s where we come in… we want to encourage Gene and Marlene by sharing the love of Christ, and helping them in their time of need. Again, they have nothing… no bed, bedding, curtains and kitchen utensils. No towels, rugs, pictures, placemats, dishes and the list goes on. Look around your home to see what you could give. Newer or very gently used items would be appreciated. The following are their colors: Kitchen– tan, brown and blue, appliances such as toaster, coffee maker, etc. in black and white. Master Bedroom– lavender, tan and green. Bed is queen size. Master Bath– lavender. Second Bath– Yellow. Second Bedroom– brown, tan, blue. Marlene’s sizes: Medium shirts, Size 10-12 pants. Gene’s Size: XL.
