Thank You, Everyone!

(Missing from the picture above is: Matthew Merrick, Brady Helseth, Wayne Smith, Laura Rolf and Marlene Sprunk)
Another year of Awana is now over and we want to take the opportunity to thank our leaders and listeners for helping make this a fantastic year! We had many new clubbers this year that came with great interest in learning about Jesus. Thank you to the parents of our clubbers for your huge effort in helping your child with memory work and so faithfully getting them to Awana each Wednesday night! It is with joy that we share the love of Jesus Christ with the children who attend. Please continue to pray for our Awana clubbers during the summer months. Pray that the seeds that were planted in their hearts and minds this year will continue to grow and take root in their lives individually. Thanks again, everyone!

Happy Birthday, Effie!

Today is the birthday of a very special lady in our church, Effie Hendrickson. Effie is 97 years old today and is very much loved by each and everyone of us. She is a long time member at Pine City EFC, former church pianist and a great encourager to so many! Happy Birthday, Effie... your church family loves you!
Operation: Bless GLBC

This Saturday, May 15, we have the opportunity to serve Grindstone Lake Bible Camp. The camp has had a big impact on our kids and youth for many years. Since our church is a supporting member of GLBC, we take charge of preparing two of the cabins for summer ministry. The project includes cleaning out the cabins and removing the leaves from around the buildings... and we need you! You don’t have to be a leaf raking expert or a master toilet bowl cleaner to come help out. I’m looking for 15 to 20 people, adults and youth, who are willing to work hard and get a little dirty. We will meet at 8:15 am at the church and drive up together. If we have a big enough crew, I hope we can return by mid-afternoon.

Thank you for your help and support for the cleanup!

To His Glory,
Aaron Goodenow
