Refrigerator Rights
Do you have them?

"How many people do you have in your life with "refrigerator rights"? You know, those people who are so trusted that they can walk into your home, open up your refrigerator, and help themselves to a sandwich or a drink?" In his book, "It", Craig Groeschel goes on to say, "If you're like most people, I suspect that very few people have refrigerator rights in your home. Most people are too busy to really get to know each other. People may have friends at work, at the gym or at PTA meetings, but few do life together in their homes." He goes on to say, "God designed you to be interdependent. He wants you depending on him and on his people."

Relationships and community are so important in the life of a church. Getting together to encourage each other is a necessary ingredient in growing in our walk with Christ. That's why small groups are so important. Relationship building among members of God's family provides an avenue for applying biblical truth, it promotes unity and caring among the members, meets spiritual and emotional needs, gives opportunity for lifestyle evangelism, and demonstrates the Body of Christ in action.

We have a number of small groups meeting in various homes. Take a minute to prayerfully consider participating in a small group this fall, call the church office (629.2584) to sign up and feel free to open up the fridge!
