Our students had an amazing time at Grindstone this past weekend. Weekend speaker, Jared Carlson, challenged our teens to keep their focus on Christ using the life of David and his battle with Goliath as an illustration. In fighting the giant, the soldiers focused in on Goliath's size and the obstacles and they were afraid. David, a simple shepherd boy, focused in on God and the fact that God was with him as he faced the giant. As a result of relying on God, he was able to defeat Goliath. Our students were challenged to keep their eyes on Christ above all. Many thanks to Jack and Becky Allen for a wonderful weekend!
