Watching on With Joy!

We had the honor and the privilege to see three more people choose to make a public profession of their faith through baptism on Sunday morning. It was a joy to see another group of people desiring to be disciples of Christ and following Him in baptism!

Go Vikes, Go!


Above is a picture of part of the group that went to the Vikings versus the Dallas Cowboys Game on Saturday evening. There was nineteen people who went together from our church. The Vikings lost that night but all of us had a great time being there among the fun, energy and excitement!

We Did It!

Pretty exciting this weekend! Our guys won the 2011 Church Softball League Championship! They also won the Sportsmanship Award. Reports are that everyone had great time together this summer playing ball. Below is a picture of the team and also a picture of the guys and their children (the children had just as much fun as their dads each week).

Things do not just happen. It is people who are intentional who make things happen. And in life it is when we are intentional that we make things happen. The same thing is true in our spiritual lives. If we don't put in the effort, not much good things will happen. This series is about making our spiritual growth an intentional matter in our life.

Don't Forget Taco Night!

Don't Forget Taco Night... tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 10 at 5:30 p.m. This is a fund raising event for Pastor Joel's trip to Rwanda this coming October. He is going with a dynamic team of spiritual men and women from this area formed through, Our Response, a ministry working with World Vision. A free will offering will be taken...come and enjoy delicious tacos prepared by "chefs extraordinaire!" Take a break from the kitchen and come to the South Campus for Tacos and fellowship!

Frontline's Funky Four-Wheeler

Our students had a great time on Saturday at the Pine City Parade handing out treats and invites to their Back-to-School Bash scheduled for September. The parade was fun as always and a joy to see so many of our students representing their youth group! Thanks, everyone!
